An individual receives the natural consequences of their choices--whether good or bad, blessings or curses. The word "consequences" is a good word if the choices are good. Inability vs. ability (Deut. 5: 27 "...will do it." Deut 6:24 "...to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always,...").
